What is a product-qualified lead (PQL)?

A product-qualified lead (PQL) is a way for product-led growth companies to qualify customers using their product behaviors and actions. It's a milestone that denotes a customer is receiving value from the product and is qualified to convert. Different products have different indicators for PQL. In Salesforce, for instance, it’s probably about creating a custom object, in Slack it’s likely about reaching some message threshold, and in a product like Intercom, it might be having a certain number of conversations.
