This week's Changelog is much tamer than our last. That's not because we haven't been hard at work, but rather because we have some bigger things coming soon and so this was a bunch of small (but useful) updates.
The biggest update for the week comes in the form of support for Rudderstack, a very interesting open-source CDP. We are big fans of everyone working hard to make tooling around events easier and the Rudderstack approach brings some new dimensions to the kind of data you can move through your event pipeline (and therefore into Variance). As always, you can find the full setup instructions for Rudderstack in our Docs.
Other Useful Updates
We also had a bunch of other small bits that make Variance easier to use. Those include:
- More streamlined Stream duplication options (you can now hook you Slack channel up as you duplicate)
- Better filters on the All Streams list (you will now default to just your Streams)
- Support for Screen events (for all your mobile needs)
- Better formatting of date values
That's it for this week. Thanks for following along. As always, if you have any questions just reach out.
